Heritage Advisory Committee
Duties and Functions
The mandate of the Heritage Advisory Committee is to advise Council on all matters relating to the protection and promotion of the County’s heritage resources, including significant architectural, cultural, historical, archaeological or scientific interest within the County according to Part IV and V of the Ontario Heritage Act. Appointment
Council members are appointed for the term of Council. Citizen members are appointed for a one year term, or until reappointed.
Meeting Dates
3rd Thursday of each month at 9am, Committee Room, Edward Building
Membership
The Committee shall be composed, as follows:
- Two (2) Members of Council
- Not fewer than five (5) and not more than eight (8) citizen members
